A wonderful place to stay. Andrew was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Very easy to communicate with. The house was exactly as it was pictured.

The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. We could hear the river from the back porch, and the private river frontage is just a road away. We spent an entire day swimming at that spot and it was so peaceful, and the water was pristine. The golf cart made it so convenient to get to the river and to the falls. Amazing, quiet, and private location. I would love to come back here and stay again!

We loved the house! It was well-stocked, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed using the golf cart to get down to the river. We took day trips to surrounding towns about an hour in different directions. The house is located in Elk Park, and you can see parts of town are still recovering from hurricane Helene. We didn't mind, we were happy to support the town with our business.

Such a wonderful experience! The location is perfect, making it so easy to explore the area. Elk Falls right down the road was amazing too. Andrew was a great host—very responsive, friendly, and provided crystal-clear check-in instructions. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We can't wait to go back!

Our family of 8 (aged 4 to 80), plus 2 dogs, had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the property and enjoyed 2 days playing at the river. The golf cart added a whole extra layer of fun! Our pups were also happy and comfortable! A wonderful spot that we would 100% recommend!

Andrew was very responsive. Often, the actual home is worse than the photos. Not in this case! Everything was exactly as shown and as advertised.

It was so nice to be back in the mountains!! This was my first stay in this particular area Elk Park/Newland, although I’m very familiar with Banner Elk/Beech Mountain Grandfather Mountain. I was looking for a place to take my Mother(Recent Pancreatic Cancer Survivor), Mother in Law(Recently lost her Husband of 52 years) and my wife and young dog. It was perfect for all of us. My wife was able to relax in a peaceful environment, my mom and mother in law were comfortable and able to enjoy the outdoors a bit while not having to climb or walk long distances and Gear(doggy) and I were able to fish and play in the river on site and play our favorite Disc Golf course North Cove in Marion. No one wanted to go home!! We were so sad we had to leave. My dog knew and as we were all getting in the car after packing he wouldn’t come to us and just plopped down at the back door telling us all we should live here. Thank you Andrew for letting us enjoy your property.

My family enjoyed this stay for five days. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the home. The hosts thought of everything! The golf cart was used to take us to the river every day. Although we did not catch a fish, we made memories. The foosball table was a big hit, as were the children’s books. We enjoyed meeting Blackie, the mountain dog, and seeing deer by the water. The beds were comfy, the blankets at the couch were cozy and the towels were freshly laundered. We cannot wait to come back again.
